Construction Project Manager - Client Side

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join the client-side team delivering a major city-based development project. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for design management, construction quality and delivery oversight, acting as a key representative of the investor throughout the project lifecycle. The role will require a strong and regular site presence, working closely with the project team, design consultants and contractors to ensure the project is delivered to the required standards. Key Responsibilities Take a strong lead on design management, ensuring the design meets the project brief, programme, budget and required technical standards. Maintain a strong site presence, overseeing construction progress and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and agreed quality standards.. Monitor contractor performance, programme, progress and key delivery milestones, escalating issues and driving resolution where required. Coordinate closely with the design team, main contractor, consultants and other project stakeholders to maintain alignment and delivery momentum. Support the client in managing variations, technical issues, change control and commercial matters. Lead inspections, snagging and handover activities, ensuring the completed asset meets the client's requirements. Provide clear reporting to the wider investment/client team on design, programme, quality, risk and construction progress. This is a senior client-side role requiring someone who is comfortable operating between the design team, contractor and site environment, with a particular focus on design quality, construction quality and successful project delivery.
