Mechanical Project Engineer Cork Location: Cork Salary: €50,000 €70,000 DOE Our client is a leading M&E Engineering contractor with a strong track record delivering large-scale, complex projects across a range of sectors in Ireland and Europe, including data centres, life sciences and pharma. They are now hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in Cork. This role suits an engineer looking to take ownership of mechanical scope on a live project, working closely with site management, subcontractors and the client through to handover. Key Responsibilities Manage mechanical engineering scope from design through to installation and commissioning Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, monitor progress and resolve technical issues on site Review drawings, specifications and mechanical designs for accuracy and buildability Manage RFIs, submittals and technical queries with the design team and client Track programme, costs and materials for the mechanical package Ensure work is delivered to quality, safety and specification standards Support commissioning and handover documentation What You'll Need Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Proven experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale M&E, mechanical or construction projects Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, process piping, plumbing) Comfortable managing subcontractors and site coordination Data centre, pharma or life sciences project experience an advantage Strong communication and problem-solving skills What's on Offer €50,000 €70,000 DOE, plus package Opportunity to work on a major live project with a leading contractor Genuine career progression within the business Apply today for more info
