Technical Accessibility Engineer

Technical Accessibility Consultant 6 month contract Dublin city centre/Hybrid role Our high profile client based in Dublin city centre is actively seeking a Technical Accessibility Consultant to join their team to support a digital squad in the elicitation of accessibility requirements, and to guide the understanding and delivery of these requirements from both development and testing perspectives. The consultant will also be responsible for creating best practice documentation. Responsibilities: Support the elicitation and clarification of accessibility requirements. Provide expert guidance to developers and testers on implementing and validating accessibility. Produce best practice guidance documentation for use across teams. Work with the digital squad to identify and document accessibility requirements. Review user journeys, UI designs, and functional specifications with an accessibility lens. Support developers in understanding technical accessibility needs. Advise testers on accessibility test approaches and tools. Produce clear, reusable best practice documentation for accessibility implementation and testing Experience required: Proven experience with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and accessibility compliance. Experience working with cross-functional agile squads. Strong understanding of accessibility testing tools and methodologies. Ability to translate accessibility needs into clear developer and tester guidance Skills: WCAG 2.1/2.2 digital accessibility Agile accessibility testing tools.
