We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse (RGN, RMHN) to join our team in a Private Residential Facility in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
Job Description:
Provide a continuum of care throughout the house, this includes all Sisters in the residence, assist with all clinic appointments where necessary.
Promote the health, welfare, and social well-being of patients within our services
Ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic and ethical manner and that the dignity and spiritual needs of the patient are respected
Report and consult with senior nursing management on clinical issues as appropriate
Delegate to and supervise the work of other grades of staff within the remit of their role, as appropriate
To provide and maintain effective, individualized nursing care
Assist the Director of Nursing in storing, administering, and recording individual medication per policy and Nursing guidelines.
To assist with any physical aspects of care, as and when required
Ensure all complaints and incidents are recorded and reported to the Director of Nursing and Manager following the Company Policy.
Works within the Scope of Practice as issued by An Bord Altranais.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse by An Bord Altranais
RGN/ RMHN
Experience in a similar role
A good working knowledge of English
Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
Garda vetting is required.
