On behalf of Deloitte, AMS are looking for a Oracle EBS implementation Specialists for a 12 Month contract based in Dublin. Purpose of the Role: The Oracle EBS Implementation Consultant will be responsible for leading and supporting the successful delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, upgrade, and transformation initiatives. The role requires an experienced professional who can operate independently, engage confidently with business stakeholders, and translate complex business requirements into effective Oracle EBS solutions. As a Oracle EBS Implemetation Specialist you will be responsible for: Requirements & Solution Design: Engage with business and technical stakeholders to identify, validate and prioritise requirements. Represent client needs in design forums with delivery partners. Assess solution fit and advise on configuration, customisation, integration and security trade-offs. Solution Assessment & Process Improvement: Compare current processes against the target operating model. Define future-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and assess whether existing customisations can be retired in favour of standard functionality. Data Migration & Integration: Support data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation and reconciliation. Identify integration requirements between Oracle EBS and client systems and work with technical teams to resolve them. Testing & Acceptance: Develop business test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Ensure client requirements are represented in SIT, UAT and cutover testing. Support stakeholders in defect assessment and resolution. Business Readiness & Training: Identify training requirements and support preparation and delivery of training and knowledge transfer before and after go-live. Ensure client personnel are equipped to operate the new environment sustainably. Cutover & Go-Live: Review migration plans, identify dependencies and prerequisites. Provide specialist support during go-live to resolve functional, technical and process issues. Support post-implementation stabilisation and lessons learned. Governance & Documentation: Maintain RAID logs and records of material decisions. Provide practical advice and recommendations to resolve issues. Escalate risks and readiness matters through appropriate governance channels. What we require from the candidate: Extensive experience delivering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementations, upgrades, or migrations, with involvement across requirements gathering, solution design, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support. Strong Oracle EBS R12.2 expertise, with functional knowledge across core business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Inventory Management, and Fixed Assets. Proven ability to translate business, operational, and financial requirements into Oracle EBS solutions, including configuration, reporting, integrations, security, and process optimisation. Hands-on experience with data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness activities. Extensive testing experience across large-scale Oracle EBS programmes, including SIT, UAT, test planning, test scenario development, defect management, and cutover testing. Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to engage senior business users, finance teams, technical teams, and third-party delivery partners while constructively challenging solutions and driving issue resolution. Understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance requirements, including segregation of duties (SoD), approval workflows, user access controls, and audit requirements within enterprise environments.
